Michelle has coached people in a professional context for the past 15 years, beginning with her past corporate roles and continuing into coaching and trainer as a profession for the past 10 years. She has developed her coaching capabilities in leadership, performance and coaching, and has coached leaders from a variety of industries, including advertising, finance, IT, consumer products, education, government, pharmaceutical and industrial products.
Michelle’s experience and enthusiasm for supporting individual development inspires an impactful coaching style that produces results. She is passionate about conversations with clients that support greater understanding of themselves, how they are being and their impact on people around them, leading to new strategies for more effective action. Her approach to coaching is based on her commitment to contribute to people achieving excellence in their lives. In coaching others, she continually raises the bar of excellence for her clients and herself.
She uses a combination of coaching models – performance, behavioural and developmental coaching – with the objective of sustainability. At the end of the ‘program’, the client acquires new skills and behaviours that can eventually be sustained without the guidance of the coach. The strength that is built, or skills that are learned, can be applied in many different situations, and will allow the client to produce new and different results, past the time with the coach.
